The Joker

It is the jester who penetrates to the core, revealing truth clothed in comedic devices: farce, satire, burlesque. His observational logic is received by the keen who recognize that the fool is least the fool of all. Thus, he counsels as none others have leave to do.

Those who laugh at the joker mock themselves. Wit with intellect is powerfully expressive and disarmingly persuasive. We, who are uneducated in rhetoric may be surprised that the comic is also the insightful political observer, but clarity is the tool of effect for both.
